My parents are the primary childcare for my one year old son during the days while my husband and I work. They are always there to help, and they mean the world to me. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without them. Our family has had a tough year, and I would really like to do something nice for them to thank them and to let them know how much they mean to us.My dad is a retired nurse and enjoys gardening and outdoor stuff. My mom is an OR nurse. They are the quintessential people who have everything. They have a house at the lake and enjoy going out on the boat. They both have an appreciation for beer/alcohol and farm to table cooking. They aren’t really into knick-knacks or that sort of thing. Outings would be a good idea except they live way out in the country and it would probably add stress to try and schedule something.I would welcome any and all ideas!
